What we have in the Church today is that we are forced to replace God's expectations with human expectations. What Jesus could say about it? Probably He could say something like that:
"He turned and said to Peter, 'Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do.'"
